Simplify and future proof your BYOD and 1:1 in 2016

Whether in class, across campus or in the office

To develop and grow a successful and motivated workforce, organisations must place priority on delivering robust BYOD and/or 1-to-1 networks, future proofed for the increase in demand for flexibility in types of devices connecting, as well as the volume of devices.
As hiring competition for companies and brands increases with the boom in millennials in the workforce and Generation Z stepping toe in the door, you can see why a recent forecast from IDC experts revealed, “Mobile workers will account for 72% of the U.S. workforce by 2020”.
Bizreport also suggests Small to Medium Businesses are going to adopt a more mobile strategy as providers recognise the growing market and costs of a BYOD roll-out are reducing.

The education landscape expects classroom-ready devices

Furthermore, EdTech magazine gave us their predictions last year, with ‘BYOD’ pipping the post for top places in 2015 – 2016, and based on NMC report they hit the nail on the head! In the 5 year timeline they gave us, ‘Wearables’ made an appearance in 2019-2020, again showing mobile devices – taken for most literal meaning – are only going to continue to grow. (And according to the NMC report we’re already seeing considerable steps taken to effectively integrate wearables into education, particularly in Japan and Switzerland.)

Whichever industry it is, and wherever it is – devices matter. More importantly, secure, charged, online and ready-to-use devices are an expectation in education and the modern workplace. Check out the whole range of LapCabby durable and energy-efficient storage, charge and sync units – all searchable by device type!
