Fox Sports approached LapCabby looking for a charging solution that was small enough to fit in the tight space of a television studio but robust enough to take the wear and tear of television production in the studio or on location for the Fox NFL and Fox College Football broadcasts.
Game coverage is usually preceded by the pre-game shows Fox NFL Kickoff and Fox NFL Sunday and is followed on most weeks by the post-game show, The OT.
The shows feature the same studio hosts and analysts for both programs. During the telecast, the studio hosts or ‘talking heads’ use a Microsoft Surface for reference to statistics, viewing replays, etc. During a typical broadcast, the studio hosts use two devices per person because of the depleting batteries.
