Fall has arrived, and that can only mean one thing (aside from cosy jackets and falling leaves) … We’re heading off to the 2016 Massachusetts Computer Using Educators and Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Annual Technology Conference (thankfully AKA. MassCUE / M.A.S.S).
We can wait to return to the Gillette Stadium for MassCUE’s Annual Fall Conference, the dedicated EdTech show promises to: Educate, Connect, Inspire – a lot like our own vision for the show!

As well as popping over to booth 303 to see our wonderful team and product ranges, there will be a whole host of leading, influential educators and technologists speaking and delivering keynote sessions throughout the 2 days. We’ve handpicked some must see’s from our shortlist (which you can see in full here);

“Connecting Classrooms to the World”
Championing “powerful communication tools like Skype, Google hangouts and more” Matt Miller will be covering how to create a boundless classroom. Developing virtual field trips and enhancing global accessibility and interaction with different ‘cultures and viewpoints’.

“How to Enable Greater Utilization of your IT Resources and Staff” Wed, 19th at 10am
… This session identifies the challenges in leveraging technology to develop IT skills, in a time of tightened budgets, diminishing IT skills, less resource and more students. Identifying infrastructure requirements and deploying a strategic approach will be highlighted to help organizations get the most from their IT departments.

“Connecting Beyond the Walls” Thur, 20th at 11:15am
Discussing Personal Learning Networks (PLNs), Sherry Gick will unearth numerous platforms and approaches to integrate social media into learning and break down the barriers of the classroom walls.
Collin Keegan, 5th Grader, age 10!
“Gamifying Education” Thur, 20th at 8:30am & 10am
As Colin nicely puts it, this session will allow you to, “Meet kids where they already are” looking at the variety of game-based learning platforms available to enhance curriculum and engagement. As well as hearing an inspiring young individual, at the fore front of developing and promoting access to science and technology in education.
